Nodegoat Day Workshop

12 November 2025
- Academic Conference Center, Husova 4a, Prague 1
The Nodegoat Day Workshop, organised by the Institute of History of the Czech Academy of Sciences, in cooperation with Lab1100, will take place on 12 November 2025 at the Academic Conference Center, Husova 4a, Prague 1.
Nodegoat is a web-based research environment for the management, analysis and visualisation of data in the humanities, widely used by the international research community. Since 2024, nodegoat has also been available as an institutional installation at the Czech Academy of Sciences. This workshop will provide an opportunity for researchers, digital humanists, and data enthusiasts to explore the potential of nodegoat, and to share and exchange their practical experiences with its implementation.
The workshop will open with a keynote talk by Dr. Kaspar Gubler from the University of Bern, the project leader of the Repertorium Academicum Germanicum (RAG). The programme will also include a presentation of the new features of Nodegoat and a Q&A session with the platform's developers, Geert Kessels and Pim van Bree. This will be a unique opportunity to meet the authors of nodegoat directly, ask questions and discuss individual data models and research projects.
